SCRIPTURE:
We know that God’s children do not make a practice of sinning, for God’s Son holds them securely, and the evil one cannot touch them. We know that we are children of God and that the world around us is under the control of the evil one.

DEVOTIONAL:
These days, the world is a dangerous place, filled with terror and corruption. The evil one (the devil) is a liar, a thief, a murderer, and a destroyer (John 10:10). He is the one behind everything that troubles you—poor health, family problems, lack, loss of job or business failure—or whatever else you may be facing.
The evil one has control over those that live according to their flesh or according to the ways of this world’s system. But, you have nothing to fear. He cannot touch you, your family or your possessions. Whatever the devil has stolen from you, he must return seven-fold!
As a child of God, you have been set free from the bondage of sin, sickness and poverty. Jesus has given you the spiritual weapons to guarantee your victory and success in the midst of a crooked generation. You have His blood, His Name, His Spirit, His Word, praise and angelic intervention to defeat the enemy. In Jesus, you are more than a conqueror!
PRAYER:
Lord, thank you that You have chosen me out of this world and that Your hand of protection and blessing is upon me. Thank you that You take care of my family and ______________________. (Name a situation or area in which you have a need.) I will not fear; my trust is in You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
