Warning Concerning Online Fraud

Social media is an important and growing part of our ministry outreach to connect with partners and friends around the globe. We use Facebook, Twitter and other social media channels to share testimonials, prayers, words of encouragement and news about upcoming events.

As with any emerging technology, certain people find ways to use the technology for wrong or harmful purposes. Unfortunately, we have received several reports that some people are using social media and smartphone apps such as Messenger to fraudulently solicit funds for personal use in the name of Dr Bill Winston.

Please know that we will never ask for money via social media. We also do not send or receive friend requests or inbox messages on Facebook or Smart Phone Apps such as Messenger.

While we have taken steps to work with Facebook to have these fraudulent accounts shut down, many more accounts are being created to deceive ministry followers. If you suspect someone is misrepresenting this ministry or Dr. Winston on Facebook, you may report that page or user to Facebook by following the instructions here. You can also contact us directly at customerservice@bwm.org or 708-697-5100. Please be sure to include a link to the profile that you believe is impersonating the ministry.

You can find official links to all of our authorized social media accounts here.

Our purpose at Bill Winston Ministries is to be a blessing to you through all of our social media channels and to be good stewards of what God has entrusted to us; therefore, we are taking these actions as a necessary precaution to our followers.

We thank you for your continued support of Bill Winston Ministries.

"Keep walking by faith!"

PrayerRequest

"I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;" - 1 Timothy 2:1-3 (King James Version -KJV)
